Cubot S500, S550 and S600 are based on MediaTek platform

Cubot S500, S550 and S600 are android phones that are based on MediaTek platform and have a metal frame covered with glass and a fingerprint sensor integrated. All come with double curvature 2.5D display with frame made of zinc and titanium alloy for having solid build quality.

Cubot S600 features a MT6735A Mediatek quad-core 64-bit processor accompanied by 2GB of memory and 16GB of storage. Cubot S550 also has same processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB flash storage. Cubot S500 has lowered powered Mediatek MT6735P processor that runs at 1GHz. This is accompanied by 1GB RAM and 16GB of flash storage. It is available for mere 169 dollars at

Dual sim connectivity

All three come with fingerprint reader and 4G LTE connectivity with dual SIM slots –  a microSIM and a Nanosim. S550 and S600 come with big 2800mAh batteries and 5.5 inch IPS HD displays. S500 has smaller capacity battery, 2350 mAh but that should not hurt its battery life as it has weaker processor to deal with. Graphics are handled by the powerful Mali T720 GPU. All three android phones run android 5.1 operating system.

There are plenty of sensors on board, including Gravity sensor, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Compass and Fingerprint sensor.
