Acer Predator 15 (G9-593), 17 (G9-793) specs
Acer has updated its line of laptops from game with new Nvidia graphics cards: the Predator 15 (G9-593) and Predator 17 (G9-793) will be equipped with GeForce 1060 GTX and GTX 1070. Acer Predator 15 specifications include 15.6 inch full HD display packing 1920×1080 resolution while the Predator 17 will make use of a bigger 17.3 inch full HD panel or optional 4K ultra HD display with 3840 x 2160 pixels.
Irrespective of whichever model you get, both will be IPS and support the G-Sync technology and can be connected up to 3 external monitors with G-Sync and maximum 4K resolution.
These laptops will adopt the same cooling system of the models launched in 2015. Called the Predator FrostCore, this system consists of an integrated fan in a Cooler Master removable module which can be inserted into the slot for optical discs of your Acer Predator 15 (G9-593) and Acer Predator 17 (G9-793).
There is even provision to get around with dust. Acer is using Predator DustDefender that two high-speed fans with reverse rotation to remove dust, improve heat dissipation and reduce noise to a minimum. The fan blades, using an ingenious extremely high speed in the dust repulsion mechanism to improve the air flow around the high performance components. Removing dust and maintaining a cool temperature, Predator DustDefender ensures consistent performance, ensures maximum comfort and extends the life of the Acer Predator 15 (G9-593) and Acer Predator 17 (G9-793) gaming laptops.
Finally, CoolBoost app allows individual adjustment of the air flow. The Turbo Mode, for example, offers the maximum fan speed and cooling power when the heavy use requires a further boost.
